The Kharkov Diplomatic Club hosted a meeting of the members of the Diplomatic Club with the Kharkov athletes and their coaches who participated in the Tokyo Olympics.
In his welcoming speech to the athletes of the Kharkiv region, Shakhin Omarov congratulated all the members of the Ukrainian team on the results, 19 medals, and thanked them for the worthy representation of Ukraine in the international arena. He also wished them good health, further sporting achievements and success to participate in the next Olympiads.
Shahin Omarov also thanked the vice-champions of the Kharkiv Olympiad, as well as their coaches, who gave a lot of strength, knowledge and patience to achieve victory.
The athletes and their coaches were also congratulated by the President of the Kharkiv Diplomatic Club, Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Kharkiv Emin Najafli, representatives of the Kharkiv City Council.
The meeting continued with communication with the athletes, giving them gifts and a buffet table.
