Attention to foreign citizens staying in Ukraine

Foreigners, in connection with the situation with coronavirus in Ukraine, will be able to resolve their stay within a month after the quarantine is canceled. This was announced at a government meeting by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov.

According to him, foreigners will be given the opportunity to resolve all issues after the cancellation of quarantine.

"The draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers proposes to provide foreigners and stateless persons within 30 days from the date of quarantine cancellation to apply to resolve the issue of regulating the legal status of stay in Ukraine. In this case, administrative measures will not be applied to them," Avakov said.

The resolution was adopted to prevent violation of the legislation of Ukraine in the field of migration for the period of quarantine.

Foreigners will not be fined for a month after quarantine cancellation.
