HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania made a working visit to Tirana.

On May 22, 2016 Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania in Kharkiv Shahin Omarov paid  a working visit to the capital of Albania, Tirana. The MP of Ukraine, Chairman of the Group of the Verkhovna Rada on inter-parliamentary relations with the Republic of Albania Vitaly Kurylo.

May 23, 2016 in the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Republic of Albania a meeting was held. The guests were received by the Deputy Minister of Education and Sports, Nora Malay. Also during the meeting were present the Director of the Department of European Integration and the Director of the Department of Diaspora of the Ministry.

The sides discussed the current situation in the relations in the field of education between the two countries, stressed the importance of cooperation in this field. The Honorary Consul and the MP of the Parliament informed Deputy Minister that the Ukrainian Government allocated places for the studying of Albanian students. They also discussed the exchange of teaching staff and researchers, bilateral relations between the universities of two countries. The participants of the meeting agreed to continue the hard work on the development of relations between Ukraine and Albania in the field of education.
