HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania Shahin Omarov as part of the official delegation from Albania took part in the official meeting of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Albania

     In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine within the framework of the official visit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine P.Klimkin met with the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, D.Bushati.

     During the meeting, issues of expanding cooperation between the countries were discussed, including the possibility of strengthening the diplomatic presence of Ukraine in Albania, expanding economic cooperation (exchanged proposals for an agreement on the establishment of a free trade zone), tourism development and other areas of cooperation.

     Ditmir Busati also noted that Albania confirms its intention to support Ukraine in resolving the conflict in the east of the country through peaceful diplomatic methods.

      The composition of the official delegation from Albania also included: Sh. Kureta - Ambassador of Albania in Ukraine concurrently; O. Barbulushi - Director of the Cabinet of Ministers; E.Prendi - Adviser on communications of the Minister.

     From the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in the meeting took part: V.Shkurov - I.O. Director of the Second European Department; E.Rustamov - First Secretary of the Second European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
