HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Meeting of the Honorary Consul of Albania Shahin Omarov with students of Kharkiv universities in the framework of the project "International Open Door"

In the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Albania in Kharkiv, a meeting was held with students from Kharkiv who study in various universities of the city and participate in the project “School of a Young Diplomat”.

The meeting was attended by 14 participants of the project headed by the chairman of the Standing Committee on International Cooperation of the Youth Council under the Kharkiv mayor Artem Tkachenko and a representative of the Department of International Cooperation of the Kharkiv City Council.

Honorary Consul of Albania Shahin Omarov acquainted the participants with the peculiarities of the activities of the Honorary Consulate of Albania, the tasks and areas of work of the Consulate, both with representatives of the authorities of Albania and Ukraine, and the Albanian diaspora in Ukraine.

The Consul paid special attention to international projects such as “Children for peace in the whole world”, organizing rest of Ukrainian children in Albania, opening the Center of Albanian culture, students and other interchange.

The meeting was held in a warm friendly atmosphere. The meeting participants were interested in the state of relations between Ukraine and Albania, the development of relations in the field of diplomacy, economics, culture and education.

In addition, the project participants were interested in such issues as the personal qualities of the Consul, the success of diplomatic negotiations, problems faced by representatives of diplomatic institutions and others.

The meeting ended with tea and sweets on the occasion of the International Holiday Novruz.
