HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania in Kharkiv attended an event dedicated to the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers.

May 30, 2015 Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania in Kharkiv Shahin Omarov, at the invitation of Kharkiv Regional Public Organization of UN peacekeepers, participants of international operations and the disabled people of war, which is an associate member of the International Association "Soldiers of Peace", attended a solemn event dedicated to the International Day of UN Peacekeepers which is celebrated each year on 29 May, according to UN General Assembly resolution (A / res / 57/129 of 24 February 2003) and Decree of the President of Ukraine № 374/2003 of 30 April 2003.

The event was attended by veterans and members of UN peacekeeping operations and international operations from Kharkiv, Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine, representatives of youth and veterans' public organizations.
