HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Honorary Consul of Albania Shahin Omarov took part in the conference “The Way to the Prize of Europe: Challenges and Prospects”

The purpose of the event is to spread the ideas of European unity and popularize the European Prize among the cities of Ukraine, discuss the peculiarities and methods of applying for the European Prize.

The conference was attended by the chairman of the PACE Europe Subcommittee on Prize Yonat Marian Stroy, representatives of municipalities of cities of Ukraine, cities-members of the Association of Cities with the Prizes of Europe, consular offices of Kharkiv and the youth project “Open Doors”.

The participants discussed issues related to the role of cities and local authorities in modern European processes, cooperation with the Council of Europe and the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine, as well as the relevance of the integration of Ukrainian cities into European processes through receiving the European Prize.
