HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Consul Omarov Shahin met with the Dean of the State University of Tirana, Dr. Sabri Laci

On July 25, with the support of the State Minister for Diaspora, Mr. Pandeli Maiko, was held the meeting of Honorary Consul of Albania Omarov Shahin with the Dean of the Faculty of Philology of the State University of Tirana, Dr. Sabri Lacci.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the opening of the Albanian language department at the Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after G. Skovoroda. The Albanian side highly appreciated such initiative of the Honorary Consul. Also was discussed the possibility of the visit of the State University of Tirana representatives to the Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after G. Skovoroda to establish direct contacts between two universities.

A memorandum of cooperation between the Honorary Consulate of Albania and Kharkiv University was signed at the beginning of this year.
