HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Honorary Consulate organized a concert to mark the opening of a consular agency.

June 16, 2015 at the Kharkiv State Academic Russian Drama Theatre of A. Pushkin was a concert devoted to the opening of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Albania in the city of Kharkiv. The concert was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania in Ukraine Shpresa Kureta, representatives of local authorities, the diplomatic corps of Kharkov, universities and other distinguished guests. The welcome words were given by: Ambassador of Albania, Honorary Consul Shahin Omarov, representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and representatives of local authorities of Odessa and Zaporizhzhya regions, where the Albanian diaspora in Ukraine lives.

The performances were given by the folklore ensembles from Odessa and Zaporizhzhya region, as well as musical performers and dance groups. In addition to the concert was attended by Ukrainian folk ensembles with national dances and folk songs.

In the theater lobby for all guests, an exhibition of works and achievements of indigenous Albanians living in the territory of Ukraine, photographs, books and other artifacts was set. The guests were treated with Albanian national sweets.
