June 16, 2015 in Kharkiv city council a meeting of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania in Ukraine Shpresa Kureta with the Deputy mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov was held. The possibilities and areas of cooperation were discussed during the meeting. The Ambassador noted that Kharkiv is a big and developed city, and there is a great field for cooperation, especially in the field of business and tourism. The parties also discussed the positive aspects of launching the flight, which will connect the capitals of Ukraine and Albania - Tirana and Kiev, and will run every 10 days from 25 June until the end of August. Cooperation in the cultural sphere as an important component of cooperation between the two countries also was not spared. The Deputy Mayor noted that Kharkiv continues to grow despite the difficult times, and the Ambassador expressed hope for the continuation of the development and building relations between the Republic of Albania and Kharkiv.
