HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

The Honorary Consul Shahin Omarov as part of the official delegation took part in the meeting of the OSCE Chairman Edi Rama with the head of the Ukrainian parliament Dmitry Razumkov

The head of the Ukrainian parliament, Dmitry Razumkov, welcomed the chairman of the OSCE, the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, who first visited Ukraine, and thanked him for his willingness to cooperate.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the steps of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to expand the mandate of the monitoring mission in the Donbass with a view to resolving the conflict in eastern Ukraine, observing a "sustainable ceasefire" in the conflict zone, respecting human rights and fundamental freedoms in the OSCE region.

Edi Rama assured that the OSCE mission will do everything possible to ceasefire and save civilians.

Dmitry Razumkov thanked Edi Rama for supporting the integrity of Ukraine.

The parties agreed on the further development of bilateral diplomatic and political relations, as well as on the advisability of drawing on the experience of honorary consuls in the development of trade relations between Ukraine and Albania.
