Honorary Consul of Albania Shahin Omarov as part of the OSCE Mission made a trip to Donbass

As part of familiarizing themselves with the situation in eastern Ukraine and obtaining reliable information, representatives of the OSCE Mission made a trip to the conflict zone in eastern Ukraine (Donetsk, Lugansk).

Together with the members of the Mission, the team included the Ombudsman, Plenipotentiary of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Human Rights of Ukraine Lyudmila Denisova, Permanent Representative of Ukraine to International Organizations Evgeny Tsymbalyuk, Ambassador of Ukraine to the OSCE Evgeny Timchuk.

As the head of the OSCE, Edi Rama, said “the main purpose of the trip is to assess the humanitarian and security situation in areas affected by the conflict, as well as to see the practical value of the work of the SMM in the field”.
