HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Shahin Omarov took part in the round table “The Role of Heydar Aliyev in the Formation of Statehood of Azerbaijan”, dedicated to the Day of National Salvation of the Azerbaijani people

At the invitation of the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Afgan Salmanov, Shahin Omarov took part in the round table "The Role of Heydar Aliyev in the Formation of Statehood of Azerbaijan" dedicated to the Day of National Salvation of the Azerbaijani people.

The round table was held on the eve of the 27th anniversary of National Salvation Day and was dedicated to the role of the national leader of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, both in the formation of the statehood of Azerbaijan and the influence of the policy of Heydar Aliyev on strengthening and further development of independent, modern, free and prosperous Azerbaijan.

In his speech, the Honorary Consul of Albania emphasized the historical role of Heydar Aliyev in his vision of the prospects for socio-political, economic and cultural development of the country and the role of Azerbaijan in the international arena. He also noted that one of the main directions of Azerbaijan’s foreign policy is to strengthen cooperation between European countries and noted the important role of Azerbaijan in providing them with energy resources, which is an indicator of energy stability and security of Europe.

The Honorary Consul of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kharkov, Afgan Salmanov, delivered a welcoming speech and a brief historical background. A documentary about Heydar Aliyev “The Way of the Winner” was presented to the attention of those present.

The round table was also attended by a representative of the Department of Economics and International Relations of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, representatives of the diplomatic corps and public associations of Kharkiv, as well as representatives of the media.
