HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Shahin Omarov, Honorary Consul of Albania, took part in celebrations on the occasion of Constitution Day of Ukraine

Shahin Omarov, along with the general public, laid flowers at the monument to Independence of Ukraine on Sq. Constitution.

The event was attended by representatives of the city and regional authorities, diplomatic institutions of Kharkov, heads of universities of Kharkiv, public associations.

 In honor of the 24th anniversary of the adoption of the Basic Law, an anthem of Ukraine was sounded on the square and those present laid flowers at the monument.

Reference. The Constitution of Ukraine was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on the morning of June 28, 1996. The document determined the basic principles of organization of the supreme bodies of state and local self-government, their relations and competence, as well as the rights, freedoms and duties of a person and citizen. The international community called the first Constitution of independent Ukraine one of the most democratic in the world.
