Albania is one of the first countries in Europe to announce the restoration of the tourist season.

From June 1 of this year, Albania opened the border and lifted restrictive measures for both tourists who purchased a travel package from a tour operator and tourists traveling on their own.

No additional documents (test for COVID, documents confirming the state of health, passing an observation upon arrival in Albania) are needed.

However, from 07/07/2020 Albania, Albania was included in the list of countries of the "red zone" of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in terms of incidence rate COVID-19 (the list is constantly updated).

Upon arrival from the country of the red zone, where the figure is more than 40 (Albania 40.3), observations / self-isolation is necessary for 14 days after crossing the border under the control of the “Act at home” mobile application (Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 392 dated 05/20/2020).

A two-week observation or self-isolation upon arrival in Ukraine may be terminated by those who undergo a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analysis of coronavirus in Ukraine and receive a negative result. This rule applies to both foreigners and citizens of Ukraine.

The same certificate obtained in foreign medical institutions does not exempt from observation and self-isolation upon returning to Ukraine.
