HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Honorary Consul of Albania Shahin Omarov took part in the meeting of the Head of the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Albania in Ukraine Fation Penny with the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Alexey Kucher

At the meeting, the Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration met with the recently appointed Head of the diplomatic mission in Albania of Ukraine, Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Albania in Ukraine, Fation of Penalty, who arrived in Kharkiv at the invitation of the Kharkiv Mayor to participate in the celebrations on the occasion of the City Day and Independence Day of Ukraine.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Albania. Particular attention was paid to the position and role of Albania in supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine, resolving the situation in the East of Ukraine and concluding a stable ceasefire (as a country chairing the OSCE).

Fation Penny thanked the administration for the support of the projects implemented between Albania and Ukraine in the field of science, education, culture: such as cooperation between the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics and the Polytechnic University of Tirana, Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after S. Skovoroda and the Honorary Consulate of Albania, the program on training Ukrainian students in higher educational institutions of Albania and Albanian students in higher educational institutions of Ukraine and others.

For his part, Oleksey Kucher thanked the Albanian side for the successful implementation of the project, launched in 2018 by the Honorary Consul of Albania Shahin Omarov, to organize recreation for schoolchildren from Ukraine, including from the Kharkiv region, in Albania. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy

Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Taras Pastuh, heads of the relevant departments of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
