The First International Business Forum "Ukraine - Albania: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow"

June 17, 2015 in the conference hall of the Premier Palace Kharkiv the First International Business Forum "Ukraine - Albania: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow" was hosted, which was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania in Ukraine Shpresa Kureta, representatives of local authorities, representatives of diplomatic corps of Kharkiv, industrial enterprises, universities and business circles. During the forum for the first time in Ukraine were presented investment projects in Albania, talked about business opportunities in the country, governmental programs have been shown to foster investment sector in Albania, already done and future reforms. Also at the forum the first direct flight that will connect the capitals of the two countries - Kyiv and Tirana was presented, a presentation of the possible destinations for the citizens of Ukraine was made.

After the presentations, the guests had the opportunity to ask questions to the Ambassador, Honorary Consul, and to have an informal talk with the representatives of the Albanian business and with each other. Already during the forum it was suggested, to hold a second such event, perhaps in Albania.

The event was held with the support of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Albania in the city of Kharkiv.
