HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania in Ukraine Shahin Omarov and the Charge d'Affaires of Albania in Ukraine Fation Peni participated in the celebration of the 160th anniversary of the village of Divninske, Zaporizhia region

As part of the celebration of the 160th anniversary of the founding of the village of Dіvninske, Shahin Omarov and Fation Peni made a visit to the village of Divninske, where they met with the leadership of the school, where, with the support of the Honorary Consulate of Albania, a class of Albanian language and culture was opened in 2016.

School Director Galina Shilo greeted the guests with the Albanian national dish "milena" and conducted a tour of the School, as well as introduced them, the class of the Albanian language and culture, where Albanian national symbols, textbooks of the Albanian language of various levels, national costumes, and historical information materials are presented.

The meeting at the School was attended by the leaders of the Aleksandrovska and Priazovska United Territorial Communities (unit of administrative division in Ukraine) Natalya Popova and Marina Popova, as well as the Head of the Melitopol District Council Sergey Priyma.

Shahin Omarov thanked the leadership of the School and the leaders of the United Territorial Communities for treating and supporting the activities of the Albanians.
