HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania in Ukraine Shahin Omarov and Charge d'Affaires of Albania in Ukraine Fation Peni participated in the gala evening on the occasion of the 160th anniversary of the founding of the village Divninske

As part of the celebration of the 160th anniversary of the village of Divninske, the general public of the village gathered in the courtyard of the Divnisnke comprehensive school. In his welcoming speech, Shahin Omarov congratulated all residents and the leadership of the village, representatives of the Albanian diaspora, all the guests present at the holiday, and expressed gratitude to the leadership of the amalgamated territorial community for their support in the activities of the Albanians. He also thanked the Albanians for active cooperation with the Honorary Consulate of Albania and expressed hope for its fruitful continuation.

The celebrations were attended by residents of the village of Divninske, heads of the Aleksandrivske and Pryazovske amalgamated territorial community Natalya Popova and Marina Popova, Head of the Melitopol District Council Serhiy Priyma, head of a separate subdivision of the social organization "Union of Albanians of Ukraine" of Zaporizhia Region Vladislav Ilchenko.

At the end of the evening, the school Albanian group "Lishtivochki" performed in front of the audience, performing Albanian folk songs and dances.
