Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania Shahin Omarov took part in the plenary meeting of the Sumit "Crimean Platform"

Shahin Omarov, as part of the official delegation of Albania, chaired by the State Minister of Albania for Relations with Parliament, Eliza Spiropali, took part in the plenary session of the Sumit "Crimean Platform".

The Crimean Platform is a large-scale international forum designed to support the international consensus not to recognize the annexation of the peninsula by Russia. The summit will also be a platform for discussing sanctions and problems that emerged after the events of 2014: human rights violations and security issues in the Azov-Black Sea region and the Eastern Mediterranean.

The head of the official delegation of Albania, State Minister of Albania for Relations with Parliament, Eliza Spiropali, in her speech on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Albania expressed full support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine, confirmed that Crimea is Ukraine. She also congratulated the Ukrainian on the 30th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine.

The Crimean Platform summit was attended by 46 foreign delegations headed by presidents, prime ministers, heads of parliaments, foreign ministers and leaders of international organizations. The initiative to hold the summit belongs to Ukraine.
