Honorary Consul of Albania Shahin Omarov took part in the meeting of foreign delegations and the delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in PACE with internally displaced persons from Crimea and representatives of the Crimean Tatar people

Shahin Omarov, as part of foreign delegations and the delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to PACE in the Kherson Regional State Administration, met with internally displaced persons from Crimea and representatives of the Crimean Tatar people.

The head of the regional state administration Sergei Kozyr spoke about the real situation on the admincordoni with the temporarily occupied Crimea peninsula and stressed the importance of starting a new international consultation and coordination mechanism "Crimean Platform".

Sergei Kozyr expressed gratitude to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and foreign parliamentarians for adopting a comprehensive resolution on the situation with the Crimean Tatars.

The meeting was also attended by Oleksiy Telnenko - coordinator of the NGO "Crimea SOS" association, Mikhail Batrak - journalist of the Crimean media project "Inter", Denis Chistyakov - head of the regional sector of the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, Tatiana Pankrator - Kherson University of Economics, Abmejit Suleimanov is a representative of the Crimean Tatar people.
