Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania Mr. Shahin Omarov commented on the situation on the border of Ukraine with the Russian Federation on one of the leading channels of the Republic of Albania MCN Tv.

In his interview, Mr. Shahin Omarov noted that the situation remains tense but calm, there is no panic in Ukraine, and all governmental and non-governmental institutions are operating normally.

The Honorary Consul is convinced that the diplomatic forces will win and expressed his gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Albania for its firm position and support for Ukraine's actions. Special words of gratitude were addressed to the Prime Minister, His Excellency Mr. Edi Rama, who, in his chairmanship of the OSCE, made every effort to prevent the escalation of the conflict.

Mr. Shahin Omarov also stressed that the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Albania in Kharkiv operates normally, and the Honorary Consul himself is in touch 24/7 with the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Poland.
