HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania held a meeting at the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine.

December 9, 2015 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to Ukraine H.E. Shpresa Kureta met with the Director of the Second European Department, Mr. Yuri Mushka. The meeting was also attended by the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania in Kharkiv Shahin Omarov. The sides discussed the current situation in the relations between two countries, reviewed the results for 2015, marked a significant shift in the bilateral co-operation of the countries. Separately, the work of the Honorary consulate in Kharkiv - the only institution directly representing Albania on the territory of Ukraine was positively marked. Also, attention was paid to discussing of the plans for cooperation between Albania and Ukraine in 2016. As one of the main tasks the organization of meetings at the level of Deputy foreign ministers, as well as the organization of the meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs and signing of several bilateral agreements between States has been allocated.
