The Ambassador also held a private meeting with the President. Discussing the issue of European integration, the President noted the similarity of foreign policy priorities of both countries. The President stressed that the idea of ​​European integration is now to unite Ukraine, and expressed interest in the experience of Albania on its path towards EU membership. "The development of the economic potential, including the signing of a free trade area between Albania and Ukraine, could be a good answer to the global challenges facing us," - the President said.
