HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Albanian Ambassador held a meeting with the Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Affairs.

December 10, 2015 a meeting of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to Ukraine H.E. Shpresa Kureta with the Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Affairs Hanna Hopko was held. The parties discussed support of Albania to Ukraine in the international arena, the political and social situation in the country. They also discussed cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries at the level of groups on inter-parliamentary relations and through the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the abolition of visas for citizens of Albania to Ukraine, the creation of a free trade zone between Ukraine and Albania and other issues. The meeting was also attended by the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania in Kharkiv Shahin Omarov and the Head of the group of Verkhovna Rada on inter-parliamentary relations with the Republic of Albania Vitali Kurilo. As a result of the meeting the visit of Mr. Vitaly Kurilo to Albania to meet the Head of the group on inter-parliamentary relations with Ukraine was scheduled.
