HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Albanian Ambassador held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.

December 11, 2015 at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to Ukraine H.E. Shpresa Kureta met the Deputy Minister of Education and Science Andrei Gevko. The sides discussed the possibilities of cooperation between Ukraine and Albania in the field of education. Ambassador and Deputy Minister pointed out that under the current agreement between the two countries in the field of education and science two school teachers from Odessa and Zaporozhye regions - regions densely populated by ethnic Albanians were sent to Albania to study the Albanian language, an elective course of Albanian language, approved by the Ministry received a positive assessment. The parties also discussed the possibility of an exchange of students and faculty members in the 2016-2017 academic year, mutual recognition of diplomas in Albania and Ukraine. The field of education today – is one of the most promising and rapidly developing sectors between the two countries.
