HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

A commemorative event on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl tragedy was held in Kharkiv.

April 26, 2016 the Assistant of Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania in Kharkiv Shahin Omarov at the invitation of the Kharkiv regional state administration took part in the ceremony of laying flowers to the memorial sign of respect of memory of victims of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant on the occasion of the Day of the Chernobyl tragedy. The event was held in Kharkiv in the Youth Park, where the memorial is located. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Kharkiv City Council, clergy and consular corps of the city, as well as public organizations of liquidators of the Chernobyl tragedy. The representative of the Honorary Consulate laid flowers together with other honorable guests of the event.
