In Kharkiv, the memory of those killed in Drobitsky Yar in December 1941 was honored.

On May 5, representatives of the Kharkiv city administration, veterans, students, as well as the Consul General of Poland and the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania, laid flowers at the Wall of Sorrows - a memorial stele in memory of the Jews who resettled in Kharkov ghetto and killed in Drobitsky Yar in December 1941 .

Reference from the website of the Kharkiv City Council: Kharkiv ghetto was created in October 1941 in the abandoned barracks of the factory. In December 1941, - January 1942 more than 16 thousand prisoners of the ghetto were killed by the Nazis in Drobitsky Yar. Stela at the site of the ghetto was established in 1992 by the Kharkiv regional committee "Drobytsky Yar" together with Ordzhonikidzevskiy district executive committee. Near the memorial stele in 1997, it was set a stone - a monument in honor of the Righteous of the World.
