HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Ukraine held a meeting with Acting Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration.

September 22, 2016  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania in Poland and Ukraine Shpresa Kureta met the Acting Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Yuliya Svetlichna. Parties recalled a meeting at the administration in June 2015, discussed cooperation in the field of education, the possibility of opening the Department of the Albanian language in Kharkiv universities. The Governor emphasized the development of relations with Albania, the importance of the existing direct charter flight. Tourism and agricultural sectors were stipulated as one of the main components of the Albanian economy. Ambassador Shpresa Kureta said that today tourism in Albania – is the sphere of multi-disciplinary projects, which also include areas such as infrastructure development, construction of roads and railway lines, the opening of airports, agriculture development, the study of cultural and historical heritage. The parties also discussed the strong economic, industrial, scientific and educational potential of the Kharkiv region.
