HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania attended a meeting of the Youth Council of the mayor of Kharkiv

This year,  for the second time Kharkiv is taking part in a pan-European event European Local Democracy Week, which is coordinated by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of Europe, under the auspices of the Council of Europe. Last year, Kharkiv became one of the most active participants of the action, for which the city was given the highest possible status of participants - "City of twelve stars."

October 20 Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania in Kharksv Shahin Omarov attended a meeting of the Youth Council of the mayor of Kharkiv, which was held in the framework of the European Local Democracy Week. The meeting was devoted to the main theme of the week: "Living together in communities with different cultures: respect, dialogue and cooperation"

At the meeting there were presented projects of ethnic and cultural integration in the student environment of the city.

The board meeting was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, members of Kharkiv City Council, public organizations of the city, who work in the sector of conflict prevention, representatives of national, cultural and religious organizations of the city.
