HONORARY CONSUL SHAHEEN OMAROV ABOUT THE PERSPECTIVES OF TOURISM BETWEEN UKRAINE AND ALBANIA

Honorary Consul Shaheen Omarov about the perspectives of tourism between Ukraine and Albania.

During his speech at the conference UITT «Ukraine - Travel and Tourism", Honorary Consul Shaheen Omarov stressed that tourism industry for the Republic of Albania is a priority, which is fully supported by the government.

For today the level and pace of development of tourism infrastructure in Albania has gradually compete traditional Ukrainian summer recreation areas.

The benefits of Albania - not only so-called "Beach tourism", despite they have extremely clean Adriatic sea, different types of beaches, 300 days of sunshine per year, almost untouched nature attract tourists from Europe. Advantages are also in the opportunity to visit a significant amount of historical sites, compactly situated on its territory, what will make the rest unforgettable and very various.

Albania is also actively developing infrastructure for winter tourism (skiing)  in the mountains in the north.

Another positive point is also a visa-free regime for Ukraine, introduced by Albania unilaterally. Citizens of Ukraine may stay in Albania up for 90 days in six months, which greatly simplifies the opportunity to visit this ancient country on the Adriatic coast.

Shaheen Omarov said that Honorary Consulate provides and will provide maximum assistance in the development of this area of ​​cooperation between the two countries.
