HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

The Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania in Kharkіv took part in the meeting of the General Assembly Association of cities-holders of the Prize of Europe

The meeting of the General Assembly heard the report of the President of the Association Gennady Kernes on work for 2015-2017, the election of the presidium took place, a new logo of the association was chosen, and the date and venue of the next meeting were determined. Gennady Kernes was elected President of the Association of cities-holders of the Prize of Europe for a new term and, accordingly, continued the authority of Kharkov as the presiding city.

The meeting discussed the issues of the system of providing public services, as well as The Memorandum on cooperation between youth councils was signed.

Reference. Association of cities-holders of the Prize of Europe was founded in Udine (Italy) on March 25, 1984. It is a voluntary association of all cities that have been awarded the European Prize. The purpose of the association is to establish closer ties between its members, facilitate the exchange of information and initiate discussions among the cities that own the European Prize. For today, more than 70 cities are members of the association.
