HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

April 18 on the territory of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Albania in Kharkiv was a public action dedicated to the Day of the environment.

Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania in Kharkiv Shahin Omarov, as well as the members of the Honorary Consulate took part in the celebration of the Day of the environment.

Since 1999 every year on the third Saturday of April, Ukraine celebrates the Day of the Environment established by the relevant Presidential Decree number 855 of August 6, 1998. The holiday was intended to mark the Stockholm Conference on the Environment, which has become one of the most important in the history of the environmental movement.

April 18, 2015 Honorary consul with consular officials ennobled the territory near  the Consulate. The employees of the Honorary Consulate cleared a walkway near the building, collected the garbage, removed dry fallen leaves, a new ground for the future green space were delivered. New trees and shrubs were planted, and planning to create a new lawn and flower bed near the Honorary Consulate was held.
