HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Students from Ukraine attended courses in Albanian language at the University of Tirana

On the basis of the Faculty of Linguistics and History of the University in Tirana, from 1 to 30 September this year, three representatives of the Albanian diaspora in Ukraine attended courses in the Albanian language - Maria Buchakchiaska, Natalia Kircheva and Leonid Kupriyanov.
Along with classes at the university, excursions on historical Albania, acquaintance with local residents and features of national traditions, including Albanian folk dances, were organized for students.
Returning to Ukraine, the participants of the summer courses set up a letter with gratitude to the Honorary Consulate for "the opportunity to touch the land of their ancestors, study the modern literary Albanian language, the opportunity to share knowledge and information about the ancestral homeland with the Albanians in Ukraine, further teach the language, develop, educate patriotism and respect for the homeland of our ancestors, preserve our identity and establish international relations".
