HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN KHARKIV

Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania Shahin Omarov met with Deputy Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania Artemis Dralo

    During the meeting the following issues were discussed:

1. holding the Days of Culture of Albania in Ukraine in connection with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Albania,

2. Expansion of cooperation between Albania and Ukraine in the field of science and education, namely:

- Opening of the Albanian language department at Kharkiv National University Karazin, attracting Albanian students to study at Ukrainian universities,

- The opening of the Ukrainian-Albanian Center for Information Technologies and Cyber ​​Security in the framework of the Treaty between the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics and the Polytechnic University of Tirana, signed on 07.12.2017;

- solution of organizational issues of stay and training of Ukrainian students at the University of Tirana (1 month, 1 year, full course);

  3. production and installation of monuments to the National Hero of Albania Skanderbeg in the places of compact Albanians living in Ukraine - Karakurt village and village Devinsky.
